Established in 1992, The Ecophysiology and Biotechnology Research Laboratory has been at the forefront of scientific exploration. Over the years, it has undertaken a diverse range of research projects, including international collaborations, national initiatives, and investigations into the ecology and physiology of forest trees and soil microbiology. Currently, the laboratory’s focus on soil biology, with key areas of interest: 1- Mycorrhizal Symbiosis Evaluation: Studying the intricate relationships between plants and mycorrhizal fungi. 2- Biological Indicators of Soil: Measuring essential biological markers within soil ecosystems. 3- Plant Growth-Promoting Rhizobacteria: Investigating the role of rhizobacteria in enhancing plant growth. Moreover, the Ecophysiology and Biotechnology Research Laboratory actively seeks collaboration with graduate students, universities, and other research organizations.
